Watermark - Flood Level Sign
Competition organized by JVP Vode Vojvodine, Novi Sad (2010.)
 - The conceptual design won second place -

The suggested design of this urban landmark - the flood level sign, implements itself into the everyday life of the quay with its many functions. Besides its educational and informational role it represents a type of urban furniture (for lighting) on Beograski quay, and is a potential tourists attraction.

Seven posts are positioned on a distance of 3,2 meters, leaning towards the esplanade. Every one of them represents an important object/institution of Novi Sad. At the top of the pillars, that are coated with white stone tiles, there is a glass cube with the appropriate object engraved (visible on the picture below). With an adequately installed lighting, the cubes are able to glow at night, emphasizing the 3d objects inside them. The stone tiles are also supposed to be used for marking the dates and levels of critical levels of the Danube (shown on the picture).
